Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

People "round here swear that since mullet are bottom feeders, they need to be smoked before you eat them so they won't taste funny.
I tried to smoke a mullet once but every time I stuffed it in my pipe, the tail hung out.
