Matched sets pop up on "that" auction site every now and again, it wouldn't hurt to look. My guess is that marching bands decide to go with corps-style contras that they can covert to uprights, and look to offset the cost when they figure they really have been replaced...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

UUUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!Dang I hate convertables. I like REAL contras better than Sousa's for marching band, and Sousa's more than convertibles. I'm sorry...Convertables are PIECES OF CRAP!!!!!!! But I need to get off my soapbox.windshieldbug wrote:Matched sets pop up on "that" auction site every now and again, it wouldn't hurt to look. Hey, tubaguy9 - I resemble that remark! If you're not marching with a pre-Cyborg King or a pre-MacMillan Conn, you're not marching at all!
OK, if the Reynolds or Olds hasn't just been beat to a pulp I guess it would do, since Reynolds used to work for King, and before that York.
I just couldn't stand to see a Martin subjected to the abuse, as they're so rare now.
BTW: Why hasn't Zig Kanstul added a souzy to his line?
