Howdy Tubenetters;

Here is the Skinny, I have a very nice Miraphone 181 F Tuba. Unfortunately, I am forced to sell it right now. Money is rather tight right now and with the schools that I currently teach at all making the UIL Texas State Marching Competition, I am not working and the bills are starting to pile up. This is a very good horn. I picked this horn out of a lot at the now defunct Brook Mays in Dallas about a year ago. This horn was the best one my teacher and I played on. And, with the kind of playing I am doing right now, this horn is not really needed in the arsenal. But, if I do end up needing an F, the school has a very nice F Tuba for me to use. So, if you need to add a good F to your collection or you know somebody who needs one. Please feel free to contact me. Only serious offers please and pictures will be ready in the next day. I will post two or three here and the rest will be available upon request. I am asking $3,500.00 or best offer. The horn is located in Northeast Texas. Delivery or Shipping can be negotiated. No PM's please.

I look forward to hearing from all you out there in tubenetland. And, if you have any advice for a struggling and starving college student, please feel free to pass it along.

Is the 5th valve a 2/3 combo or a flat 1?

And what about the 5th valve?

My Apologies, the 5th valve is a flat whole step. Still quite an amazing horn and still very much for sale. Please folks, and I say this with all seriousness. Selling this horn will be the difference maker in me coming back to school. As much as i wanna hurry up and get out into the real world....I would rather do it with degree in hand and not because I am flat broke and have no money to pay for school. Sorry, did not mean to get out the pitty horse. Ya'll enjoy and I will have a link up for pics this afternoon.

I just wanted to vouch for Matt. I played his F tuba today. This Miraphone is in great shape. Somebody is going to get a bargain on this fine horn. Matt is a very honest and gracious man to deal with. I would definately send him an e-mail if I were in the market for an F tuba.
