While many of you are off in Buda and Pest honking on Hirsbrunners, blowing on Booseys and yammering about Yorks and Yamahamamamasâ€¦

TUBA LOVE hit a major rainstorm here in NYC the other night â€“ but the show did indeed go on â€“ the result was a bit more aggressive and caffeinated than normalâ€¦ (The usual groovy chill vibe got soaked and grumpyâ€¦)

As a tuba player who also plays congas a lot, I am hooked! Got any CDs or something with better sound quality?

These little clips were just from a minidisc mic in the back of the club --

I do have some actual studio clips on my website (www.tubajoe.com)

A CD is in the works, hope to be done within the year.

The band will be hitting the road in the fall. First trips are northeast and south... and are being planned as we speak (now that I have an actual booking manager) If there is anywhere anyone thinks I should hit, let me know!!
