Mike Roylance (former Civic Orchestra of Chicago and now Boston Symphony) will be playing a tuba part. Mark Fisher will be playing euphonium. No recordings of the group as yet. However, we will have CSO brass-related biographies, method books, compiled CDs (like the Arnold Jacobs: Portrail of an Artist and the "part 2" of that) available at the Symphony Store. Former members of the CSO brass section are to be invited to the concert. No word on how many of them will show up yet. More news will appear here as it shows up on the desk. Cheers, gene

Just a few more things:

Conductor = JF as in Jay Friedman
Conductor = DC as in Dale Clevenger

As far as the CD, Arnold Jacobs Legacy of an Artist was done by Frank Byrne and is a great companion to Portrait of an Artist that Frank did in 2000. I heard a work copy of this and it was great!

While it is not yet available, I have been working on the page for it on my site. Look at
http://www.windsongpress.com/CD/Jacobs% ... y%20cd.htm

You cannot it order yet - don't even try, the links are wrong!

Will this CD be available at the Army Band Conference this year? I always seem to spend the most money at the Windsong Press table...hehe, hope it's ready in time.
