I am currently finishing up my Grad School applications and all of the schools I'm applying to are asking for repetoire lists. So my question is since I have been playing for 10+ years, I know I only need to list the important works that I have performed but that is still 100s of pieces. So, how much is too much? Thanks for the help.

They aren't looking for every piece you ever blew a note in. They are looking for rep that you have seriously studied with your applied teacher, maybe pertinent etude books, and then only orchestral/band pieces that are significant parts of standard literature for tuba/euphonium. My list was about 30-35 works, listing only the major pieces studied and performed. I didn't list excerpts worked on because this isn't necessarily a variable from studio to studio; most applied teachers are going to hit the biggies with you.
I believe I listed the pieces in alphabetical order as well....I thought about putting the pieces in chronological order according to when I worked on the particular piece....you could choose to do that, but I would then just focus on the music you worked on in undergrad...they don't care what piece you were playing in the 8th grade (even if it was the Carnival of Venice...most review boards are past the "OO" and "AH" phase on most applications they receive....they've seen it all....).
Good luck, and I hope this helped....
