I caught that line on an episode of "Fairly Oddparents" that the kids were watching this morning. I can't remember if it was "was" or "were" that was used, but I thought it was pretty cool and stuck it in my signature when I logged in to check my email. It WAS spoken by ubergenius Ben Stein, so I am sure whatever he said was correct.
