Make sure that voice isn't muted...
- Click "Window" up top
- Click "Instrument List"
- A panel should pop up
- Next to the "Staff Name" column there should be a column marked as "M" (for mute).
- If there is a mark in the box (green square on mine) then that means the voice is muted for play back
