Make sure that voice isn't muted...

- Click "Window" up top
- Click "Instrument List"
- A panel should pop up
- Next to the "Staff Name" column there should be a column marked as "M" (for mute).
- If there is a mark in the box (green square on mine) then that means the voice is muted for play back

But ... But ... Hasn't Finale always been known for its user-friendly interface. Huh?

I've been using it since version 2.0 for Windows 3.51 (came on two floppies), and the only criticsm I have, after all that time, is:
