clanky rotors
Does anybody know a way to fix clanky rotors? my 4 valve BBb's are clanking horribly. thanks.

It depends on what is causing the noise. If the clanking is caused by loose rotor bearings, then it's a job for a pro. But if the clanking is caused by worn out linkages, then you can either have it restored by a pro, or if you are handy, you can replace it with parts made from hobby-shop raw materials.tubadaddy92 wrote:Does anybody know a way to fix clanky rotors? my 4 valve BBb's are clanking horribly. thanks.

Try fitting new rubber bumpers first. The rotors on my old Haag Eb were really noisy when I got it.
I got a bumper rubber strip (for which the shop did not even charge me), cut to lengths and fitted. The rotors are now as quiet as a new tuba.
Alternatively, if the cause of the noise is wear on the bearings, or linkage then oiling may stop, or at least reduce the clanking.
