Orchestral Openings..
I was talking with my private lesson teacher concerning the order of openings in major orchestras across the U.S. Basically that every number of years there are openings in most spots in the popular orchestras. Thoughts? Also, if this is indeed true, what are the needed from these "newcomers" to the orchestras, besides talent?
