Needed: Parts for Bach Contrapunctus IX arr. Gale

Post by jbeish »

Could anyone lead me to locating a trumpet 2 and tuba part? Our quintet is working on this and the library is missing the parts. Time is a factor. Any help would be great. Please email me off the list justinbeish@gmail.com. Sorry to clutter the list and thanks for any help.

If you have the score, you could write it out.

Is it published? I did a bit of looking and came up empty.

Isn't most of the Jack Gale stuff published by Music Express? Should be pretty easy to pick up the parts from a major retailer - or just Finale it like Bryan suggested!

Most are published by either Music Express or Musicians Publications. This one I did see in either publishers catalog.

There is a ton of Gale music floating around in manuscript and I am guessing that is what this piece might be. Then again, I could be waaay off!
