Pardi Gras in New Orleans January 12 at The Tropical Isle Bar on Bourbon Street. John Reno and The Half-Fast Creekers onstage at 6:30 PM-10:30 PM. Tuba ,Guitar and harmonica-helping to bring New Orleans back one round of beers at a time.

Wade, that would be so cool! I'll buy the first round.

Our hotel is so close by that I could probably crawl on my knees back there from the Tropical Isle (hope it doesn't come to that).
Which reminds me, there are two Tropical Isle Bars. We are at the one farthest away from Canal Street-upstairs. I hear that the Parrotheads are declaring us a must see on their Friday night pub crawl. Gotta love those guys! The men tip well and the ladies wear as little as possible.
