I've decided to sell my Miraphone 186 CC. It's in good playing condition and just back from having the valves repaired. The silver plating is in great shape but a little tarnished from not being played or polished. The lead pipe has been raised. The serial # is 13XXX so it puts it around 1980 or so, give or take a couple of years. It has typical dents and dings for a 25+ year horn. I've tried to get use to it, but I've never been a fan of the 186 CC. The previous owner made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I'm asking $3000 firm but will negotiate for a trade for another 4/4 5 valve CC.

Good day. How are you? I'm good. I'll get to the point I guess. Why was there repair work done on the valves? Where will the tuba be coming from? Will you be willing to have a trial playing period before the deal is done? I guess that's all the questions I have. Oh and how do you prefer to do the payment? I'm new to TubeNet so I'm not sure about all that goes on. Looks like a good old horn. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Talk to you later.

Yes, a PM would have been better, but I'll answer the questions best I can. The valves had to be swedged because the rotor bearings were worn. They're great now. I live in Alamogordo, NM, so it will be coming from my house. The payment will be sent before shipping, and you'll have 14 days to try it before I cash the payment. After that, it's yours if I don't here from you after the trial period. The buyer will pay shipping both ways. I will be willing to meet halfway if you live in the neighboring states and you can try it then. BTW, there is no case nor gig bag. If there is a trade, I might be willing to throw in another horn to make up the difference (not the Rudy, not for sale, ever, until I decide to sell it). Thanks for the inquiry.

The tuba is up for sale again. I would prefer to do the sale in person, if possible. I would be willing to meet halfway as long as it's a day travel or less.
