Aluminum sousaphone case?
Has anyone had a sousaphone case made from aluminum? I've done the ATA/Anvil style and Johnson cases and want something lighter and just as/more durable. If you have had experience with one of these, do you have a specific vendor? Thanks in advance.

Aluminum Case
Just wrap it in aluminum foil. Get the biggest commercial roll of foil you can find and start wrapping. Even 40 - 50 layers of foil can't be that heavy and your horn will arive fresh.

Well, you can always use my case, it's plenty strong. It's not an ATA or an Anvil case, but then it's not light either. But it is OEM... circa 1927.
