Indeed Tommy, just had confirmation that we will rehearse tonight Joe Miserendino's Winter Song & Spring Dances in a version for euphonium & clarinet choir.

When the band heard of Joe's illness they really wanted to play something for him (after meeting him last May in London).

This was the first real solo piece he did for me, and I still think it's one of his best. It went on to be the two middle movs of his Music of The Seasons Suite.
