I didn't tune in until the 4th quarter, I was pretty bored.
I got to thinking about how to make this less of a game for sissies and put some excitement back into it. I've got some ideas:

- Instead of a pigskin projectile, use one of the same size made of cast iron. Should make passing and field goals more interesting.
- Why use astroturf/grass and cleats? How about bare feet on ice?
- Offensive linemen should be issued halberds.

Played a new eatery w/bar out by the Mobile airport called Cooper T's. They have a jet airliner sawed in half in the parking lot.
Pretty place. We were looking forward to playing there for the first time but with the stupor bowl and a Mardi Gras parade scheduled, the bar crowd seldom numbered more that 20. We amused ourselves by playing "stump the band" with the bartenders and waitresses. (We claim to know every song ever written except seven. When they request seven songs we don't know, the game is over and they win.)

They did sound good! I thought it was a good mix with Prince, and that it worked very well.MartyNeilan wrote:How bout that FAMU band? I know some people look down on "show" bands, but they looked good and sounded tight top to bottom.
As for the game? Once everyone stopped fumbling the ball, it got boring. By the time I got home, I had forgotten who had won.
