Aren't all of us who come here regularly "Tubaholics"?
Jonathan "who croons over tubas, like most men do over sports cars"
Do you look at tubas like some people look at sports cars?

Just because you're on a diet, it doesn't mean that you can't look at the menu!

I believe you must be talking about Dalyan. These are decent horns. I played the CC for about a month, myself. I thought it was pretty good. I have also spent a little time with the Piggy and one of the BBb models. I believe they are worth the money.Super Smooth wrote:There's the new maker "Daylan" on the block. I suppose Daylan is in China? They have 5 BBb models listed and a CC. All for under $3,000. These must be the Kia's of the tuba world!
Ooops, make that 4 BBb's. 1CC and 1 F tuba!

And yes, there can be ethical / moral issues involved for all those young people who go into mega credit card or student loan debt to own a stable full of shiny new pro horns designed for full time players in 100 piece symphony orchestras making 100K.
