Octubafest

Post by Chadtuba »

I know that it's way early for this, but I'm trying to plan ahead as much as possible. Do any of you have a source for music for Octubafest? Does Harvey Phillips put it out or somebody else. I've been searching and just can't seem to find much information other than the occasional vague reference.

Thanks :D

Octubafest is normally just a recital event in October for tuba & euphonium players.

There was an Octubafest event some years ago, that Harvey organized, which included all professional players, at NYC's Grand Central Station (sponsored by Jose Cuervo, I think!). There were some special charts written for that event, but I do not believe that they are available to us.

Too bad!

Thank you, that's just what I was looking for. I will contact HPF and get an order to you when I get things figured out. Much appreciated.
