Hi,
Would anybody mind posting or mailing any pictures of two-way triggers they've got?
Thinking of one for a main slide but any slide would do I suppose.
Thank-you for any help.

The Contempora Corner has a picture when Reynolds tried it on the first valve slide and quickly discarded it:

My old college has two of those horns. The horns were beasts, but I wasn't very impressed with the trigger.iiipopes wrote:The Contempora Corner has a picture when Reynolds tried it on the first valve slide and quickly discarded it:

wow...
So that's what it's supposed to look like.
I played a old beat-up horn like that in Jr. High, except it just had the bare 'casing' and no other stuff/linkages like in the picture. Back then I asked my band director what it was for, he said "So you'll play in tune". Didn't help that the slide was stuck and wouldn't pull out... But it made me happy to 'know' I was playing in tune (ha ha).
