Gold MF3 and G&W Al Baer C (orig. model) for sale

Post by phoenix »

Hey everyone,

I have two mouthpieces for sale:

G&W Alan Baer C - like new, played on constantly for about a month or two last year. - $85 (brand new is $160)

Gold Mike Finn 3 - Pretty good condition, scratched up in a few spots, but still looks pretty good. Played on my BBb horn from my freshman to junior year of high school. - $75 (brand new is $155)

These prices are negotiable. Please PM me or shoot me an email if you are interested. Thanks!

-Brett

One more thing, I've had a few questions as to whether the Al Baer mouthpiece is the new MMVI model or the old one. I have the older one; I was unaware that they even had a new model in production. Anyway, it is the older design that I have for sale. Asking price stands as is, but will come down slightly if need be. Thanks!

This is directly from the website about the new Al Baer:

"Alan Baer and Giddings and Webster have taken the original signature model mouthpiece and put a flatter narrower rim on it. In addition to this we have added a bit of mass around the throat of the mouthpiece, and we have made the mouthpiece out of 15-5 stainless steel."

About the old Al Baer:

"This mouthpiece delivers rich focused overtones with great projection, easy articulation, and consistent pitch throughout the range of the tuba. Cup diameter 1.295,and throat diameter .321."

Hope this helps. Both mouthpieces are still for sale.
