I want to see Bloke play. On the helicon.

Or Patrick Sheridan again. Half music, half comedy. I'd love to see that again.

I'd like to see one of the top Mexican Banda groups.

Also Gravity

I'd also like to have a masterclass where they pick adult amatuers, instead of college/high school students.

Tubists will need to diversify and pursue different styles, if they want to make a living playing. That is becoming more of a reality with every passing year.
THANK YOU!!!!

Everyone please read this, and I hope the USAB will come through with some of these acts, I'd really enjoy that.

That, and more CC tuba playing. How about someone like Don Harry?

Wasn't Baadsvik there 2 years ago? But I mean, Fnugg never gets old.

I think it'd be cool if he or someone else could give a masterlass on multiphonics and the like. I think that'd be super enjoyable.

Pat Sheridan is always a joy to listen to and a great stage presence.

Has Patrick Harrild ever been invited?

for classes, I would like to see:
Brain Fredrickson do the Jacobs presentation.

A master class on freelancing with freelance players (not symphony guys) like Kyle Turner, Don Strand etc...

Something on an inner game type discussion (Barry Green or the soprano on her head lady)

Audition prep

musicians health and injuries (not focal distonia, but injuries)

focal distonia class

promoting your small ensemble

horn manufacturing or the business of selling tubas

Breathing Gym (or brass gym)

simple instrument repair/ maintinance

I would also like to see some of the people solo with the brass band and not just just concert band or orchestra
I'll probably think of more later,
Bill

Harrild and LSO brass

Great suggestion. I met Pat in person for the first time in January. What a great player and very nice person. He mentioned the possibility of bringing some LSO brass together for a concert/masterclass/seminar when they are in the States.

The soprano on her head lady died; so I guess it would have to be Greene.

I was recently in Spain and got the chance to see the Spanish Brass - quite impressive... Would be great to have at the DC conference.

Anyone know if there is a list of who has played in the past? Maybe an entirely new thread.

I have been to the last three conferences so I know who played at those, but before then I have no clue. My wife might say I have no clue to begin with and I know my kids would!
