Folding Music Stands

Post by tbn.al »

I can't open the other thread on this topic but I wanted to share this. Everytime I set this Nilton Magic stand up at a rehearsal or concert it draws a crowd. It absolutely the best folding stand out there. Large desk with tray, very light, compact and durable. A bit pricey, but as well as it is made it should last me the rest of my life. As far as I know Shar is the only US supplier.

I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

Currently showing as "Not In Stock" but it looks sweet. Is the coupling between desk and shaft made of metal or plastic? I've watched a few similarly designed stands with plastic desks bite the dust on gigs. These would be dixie gigs with heavy fake books involved. I'm sticking with my all-metal, albeit heavier K&M until I can find something reliable that will cut a few pounds off the weight of my suitcase.

Could we impose on you for pictures? I'd love to see the stress points up close.
