Someone just sent me this link. It's worth the next nine minutes of your life:

That's not just a trumpet player, that's Bud Herseth, god of all trumpet players. I do appreciate the video, the 4th trumpet is my old teacher, Robert Bright, an exceptional human being in all respects. I had never seen him with the CSO. Lot's of stories, no proof.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

Daylight Savings or Standard? :D
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I hate to blaspheme, but, did the strings seem to be scuffling a bit in a few of the technical spots?

YouTube took down the vids previously posted here, so I am giving another Hindemith/CSO/Jacobs link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3BRFYc9LOw" target="_blank

Jacobs sounds great on this! :tuba: Look at where he is placed in the brass section - he is in the back-middle section where the trumpets usually are. I wish more concert bands & orchestras would place the tuba(s) in this spot of the stage.
