A&W theme song
so... i'm wondering if anyone ever took the time to write down the part for the old A&W restaraunt commercials with the big bear mascot skipping along with the kids and the burgers and the stuff... i'm thinking early-mid nineties? they've kept it around to some extent i think...i don't really watch tv. maybe it was only in canada. i can only remember the first few notes, and i wonder how many suppressed memories i could stir in my students if i whipped that bad boy out. so... if anyone has the part or scribbled it on a napkin and could send it, that'd put me in a happy place indeed. cheers

That cutesy little theme was reworked into a one-movement tuba feature with orchestra – complete with cadenza. (A concerto in one movement, if you will.) Back in the mid-80s I had the chance to play it far too many times on our school shows. Kids and teachers seemed to love it, and it gave the tubist a front-row spot for a tune.
Wonder who did the arrangement -- it was in manuscript form rather than published. Something tells me it might have initially been done for someone in Western Canada.
