I have a 9th grade euphonium player student that had cancer at the base of the back of his neck 2 years ago on his spine and made first round and went into remission.
It returned and he is in the hospital and just had bone marrow transplant and hopes to be home when he is producing white blood cells
He took lessons till his cancer came back and I taught him at home some back in the 7th grade when he was home bound cause of his cancer.
Great family and great kid with a big heart.
One of my all time favorite kids teaching in 34 years of private teaching.
i am truly hoping he makes it.
