Just wanted to let anyone who might be in the area that the Las Vegas Youth Orchestras will be having their final concert on Saturday, April 28th at 4 P.M. in the Artemus Ham Concert Hall on the Campus of UNLV. Yours truly will be conducting the Philharmonic in the following program:
Hebrides Overture- Mendelssohn
Violin Concerto #2 in d-Weiniewski Tena Shizuma Soloist
Capriccio Espagnole- Rimsky Korsakov
The Philharmonic will be preceded by 3 other of the orginizations fine ensembles. Ms. Shizuma is a stunning player. Kids are amazing!!!!!! I know it's a long shot, but come on out.
