They could have asked any number of questions about Stan, who was with Disney for 35 years. Stanford Freese has been a very innovative tubist, and that was true when he was a student at the University of Minnesota.

He was also the one who was in the Mirafone recording bass ad, pictured with then President Richard M. Nixon.

Cool. He was playing a detachable bell 186 of the same model as the one I purchased recently. I wonder if he also has an upright bell to go with his! (His is in better condition than mine -- I have some work to do on my bell!)
