Hey- Just posted info about the upcoming South Region Tuba Euphonium Conference on the TubeNet Calendar. Check it out (May 24-26) in Sarasota, Florida and check out my website for more details: http://jaytuba.arts.usf.edu Should be a killer conference with great players on hand in a great place!

Amongst aviators it is often said that any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. It's an even better landing when you can reuse the airplane.

I'll be there.

Anyone else from TubeNet planning to attend?

What's the Thursday schedule like? I would like to know how early I need to leave Jacksonville to catch who I want to see.

This is listed on the website (see link above). Looks like it's not etched in stone though as itinerary is still subject to change.

That's what I was afraid of. Looks like it will take about four hours to get there from Jax, so I guess I'd better leave at 9 am.
