How do I bring highlighted quotes into my posts?
I've searched the FAQ's, but found no answer.

Thanks
John

This will get moved to "Feedback". Meanwhile:

1. Log in

2. Find the post you want to quote from

3. In the upper right corner of the post, you'll see a "Quote" box. Click on it.

4. This should open up a new window holding the quote.

5. You can edit the quote but don't remove the bracketed language.

6. Add your own text.

7. Preview and submit

Furthermore, you may paste text in quote form in two ways.

1. When composing a post, click the "Quote" button from the row of editing buttons, paste your text in after the code and hit the quote button again.

2. Paste your text, highlight it and the click the quote button and viola

Watch your language

THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN A TEST OF THE TUBENET QUOTATION COPY PROCEDURE. THE TUBENETTERS IN YOUR AREA HAVE COOPERATED TO ENSURE THE AVAILABILITY OF QUOTATION COMMUNICATIONS IN AN EMERGENCY. HAD THIS BEEN AN ACTUAL QUOTE, APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES IN YOUR AREA WOULD HAVE PROVIDED APPROPRIATE DIRECTIONS. THIS CONCLUDES THE TEST OF THE TUBENET QUOTATION COPY PROCEDURE.

You can also click on the BBCode link under Options to the lower left of the reply box to find out more about formatting in message boards that use the BBCode format.
