I think that comma should be a period.Which would make it in the 600-650 range.I figure that's retail and you could buy it for 20-35% less from a discounter.Just some assumptions.

gig bag
Hi-
A tuba gig bag that is built soundly with wheels is long overdue. For those of us who have carried 6/4 horns on our back and then have had back problems, this is ideal.
I think this could start a trend--tuba bags with wheels --but that also have handles and backstraps for those of us who live in the East where the 'white stuff' falls in the Winter...

WWBW used to be good. However, in the past year or so, it got so they couldn't deliver stuff to me that other vendors could get and deliver. It's probably related to whatever caused them to go bankrupt. I hope they recover under their new ownership.schlepporello wrote:TWICE I've tried to order a Gard bag through WW & BW. I've failed both times. The only thing I can figure is that Gard simply cannot meet the demand in the US.chipster55 wrote:Granted, of course, that you can actually get a Gard product. This is from my experience of trying to buy a Gard gig bag from WWBW that I gave up on after 4 months of emails telling me they were unavailable. Good luck.
Therefore, I think the fact that WWBW can't get something doesn't mean another vendor couldn't.
Cheers,

I too have had trouble getting Gard products. I ordered one from WWBW back in February and I'm still waiting. As I was sitting around looking for another place to buy I also ran across this bag. I think it looks awesome. Does anyone know of any other vendor besides WWBW or any of its affiliates who sells Gard bags?

I located the importer of Gard bags, and I believe he said tuba wheelie bags are built to order in 60-90 days. He would need a dimension sheet for the tuba, like what Glenn Cronkhite and Walt Johnson use. Between the wholesale price and the shipping, you mightn't see much discount off the prices quoted above.
