Free Sheet Music Websites
A while back some one made a post about trying to find some websites that let you look at music for free online. A bunch of websites were then given by other people. Being my smart self I did not save but one of them.
So if some one could send me a few that would be great.

I've collected some and put them on del.icio.us
http://del.icio.us/scbbib/free
At the moment there are about 90 sites there, ranging from scans of medieval manuscripts to big sites with the great classics.

It's free, but registration is required--and it's in Portuguese:
http://www.samba-choro.com.br
Very unusual south-of-the-border stuff.
Also http://www.aebn.fr has some freebies, if you can figure out how to work their website (French, with "access keys").

Forget the politics here. Let me get back to the idea of copyright problems...
Any time you download something from a foreign country you run into the risk of breaking some copyright law. I would imagine, if each of us was truthful about it, we have all broken this law at one time.
In Britain, for example, some copyrights never expire. But I imagine the members of this forum from the U.K. download such compositions all the time.
Here in Vietnam, I really don't understand the copyright law. Police will crack down on a ring that makes DVDs of movies out of a private house but you can buy said DVDs at almost any bookstore. You can get locally published "fake books" for under three dollars--also in any bookstore. I bought mine!
I would be more concerned about any viruses I would be downloading from the Russian sites rather than the music itself.

With the internet being so vast, sometimes it is quite difficult to figure out where you are downloading material from. I am sure we have all broken laws of some nation at some point in our lives!LoyalTubist wrote:
