The seller says it has Bach marked on the bell. Looks to me like a marching baritone. The seller had it listed as a french horn. For a $77 winning bid, I'll roll the dice.
It's a marching baritone. I've played one when helping to fill in the low section with one of the local high schools. I'm a little jealous as I keep looking for one hoping to come across that same type of deal. Musta missed that one
The seller had a tuba for sale, I looked at his other auctions and found this one.
I have been looking for something I could use to sit in with the jazz side of our community band. They need a fourth trombone now and then, figured this might work. That is, if the director will tolerate it, he is the first 'bone.
Yeah... it's a marching baritone. They are actually pretty hard to come by. I hardly ever get one to sell.... mostly because the ones that were in service in marching bands have been totally destroyed.

Current 'stable'... Rudolf Meinl 5/4, Marzan (by Willson) euph, King 2341, Alphorn, and other strange stuff.
Well, it seems like you got a good deal because of the seller's incomplete title. Good for you!
I almost got a Scherzer piccolo trumpet (why I was bidding on a piccolo trumpet I'll never quite understand) at quite a deal because the seller listed it as piccolo instead of a piccolo trumpet (it didn't show up when searching for trumpet or piccolo trumpet). Anyways, I guess those trumpet players are a little more clever than us low brass guys... and the price got quite high.
