THOR information?

Post by Jarrod »

Anybody have any information on prices, location, etc on the Meinl 5450 "Thor"?? I can't find one on the Dillon site, and no pricing on the Meinl site. How would one purchase this instrument if they were inclined?

Thanks

Last time I was at Dillons they had a Thor in stock. BBC and Tubadome also carry them. None of them list the price on their websites. Tubadome used to have all of the MW prices listed, but now say "call for price". That's good advice. Your answers are a phone call away.

Brasswind has 1 lacquer not on their website. It's good.Tubadome has several silver ones in stock also.Brasswind has no one who can help you as far as advice. They can send it to you and ring up your sale only.Roger is a great resource.A fine player, teacher, and enthusiast of tubas.Lac is around 9350,silver is bumping 10k.Also,Baltimore brass may also have a couple, and Mr. Fedderly is a great resource with high integrity as well.Pricing will be about the same everywhere,as discussed on other threads.Mine is on the way from Roger today.
