The Soul of the machine?

The seller of this CC tuba says the manufacturer is "Soul Instruments" but has no other knowledge of them.

Does anyone have any information about Soul Instruments? I have tried several web searches and have not found anything.

At first blush, this looks to be the usual Chinese-made horn. Some of these are decent; some are terrible. As far as the name goes, many Chinese manufacturers will put whatever name you want on the horn, as long as you order several of each.

Yeah, there's no such thing as a free lunch, even at MacDonalds! (I only provide food at Wendy's.)

I guess the moral is that if a manufacturer isn't willing to stand up and be identified, we'd better be suspicious of his (or her?) products.
