Neat retro baritone

Any thought about how much it would cost to flip either the 1st or 3rd slide so that the slide is on top?

Remember, the baritone is a lot smaller than even an Eb tuba... you'd probably have better luck with the main (which is the route Conn went).

what would the receiver be?

Old standard American [small bore] tenor trombone size.

There are quite a few old 3 valve baritones coming up these days, and often they can be had for a very reasonable price. A couple weeks back I picked off an old Elkhart Conn 14 with removable upright bell for $100, on a flyer. Darned thing plays rings around my Besson, from the bottom E all the way up.

Pardon me, but I guess I don't understand the meaning of the word, retro. I thought it meant something built recently which looks like something from long ago. This isn't retro from that definition. It is an actual antique--built sometime in the mid 1920s!

What seems to be clear from various definitions given online is that no one other than the jewelry folks, seems to know exactly what "retro" means:
