Dennis is one of the great gentlemen of the professional tuba world. I met him for the first time about 15 years ago.

Great person, great player, great teacher!

Trivia: Dennis was the first tuba DMA student at the University of Michigan with Fritz Kaenzig.
Cool -- so he was 6 when you met him!

Dennis,

Nothing like the cafe's sloppy joe...best in the 'boro! I'll even spring for a vanilla ice cream...I mean, yogurt...I mean ice milk....I mean, whatever it is..at least its cold! (Ok...John will spring for it.)

Mark

P.S. Ok..Ok...Ok...I'll take you out for a beer on Friday night at Ham's....how's that!

Heartiest congratulations to you Dennis. Don't worry, you're still younger than some of us.

All the best on this special day!
