Next 4/4 CC ready August 1st

We'll have this one ready to go in a couple weeks. It's playing and sounding great with a real smooth buttery sound. You'll like the pitch and response on it too. The picture below shows it as it is today without the fifth valve linkage and adjustable thumb ring. Final clean up is also yet to be done. What make and model is this tuba? What would be the selling price? Any more pics?

Thanks for asking. The 4/4 CCs that we make (or rebuild) are based on the King 2341 BBb. Bore size is .687" with a .689" 5th rotor. We use vintage monster Eb and a few BBb bells. The bell and bottom bow on this horn were made before 1916 by Holton when their operations were in Chicago. It is a 19" bell from a monster sized Eb with the inscription:
Beaufort American
Chicago
USA

It has a rich American sound with easy projection, even response and great intonation. The price is very competitive with other horns in its class. Please contact me via email or PM for more details. hey guys,
my friend purchased one of these horns about 2 years back and it sounds AWESOME. he uses it in wind ensemble and for solo purposes. if i was in the market for a 4/4 CC i'd pick this one up.

For any who don't know, I'm a big fan of Sam's tubas. I have one, and have used it extensively for everything from solo work to orchestral playing. You can hear samples of it on my website in the Tim Olt Sounds section. I use it on the following:

Bach - Two Bourrees (solo)
Haufrecht - Suite for Brass (quintet)
Bass - Symphony of Carols (orch)
Bass - Twas the Night Before... (orch)

The only reason it isn't on the other CC pieces - I didn't have it yet.
