Concertino for Tuba and String Orchestra, Arthur Franckenpohl. The best work for those not able to play the heavies. Great piece, good writing with the strings. Good Luck.

Don't forget about Tubby the Tuba. Maybe you can even get someone from the Star Trek cast to narrate.

Seriously...it's really hard to get the music for Tubby The Tuba. The string parts are rental only, too.

The Frackenpohl is a good choice too. Or you may want to try making a project of it and arranging something new.

why is it so hard to get parts for tubby the tuba? I just looked around before seeing u had posted this and couldnt' find it anywhere:-/

i've heard a recording before, be awsome to try n play
