I'm not %100 certain but if it is the same thing they do to the 2145's i think they do some slide cutting to adjust the bore gap in a number of the valve slides and detach the lead pipe from the bell to allow both to resonate more. I hope I'm not just blowing steam here but I think this is what they do?!?! Send an email to Dave Fedderly. He'll let you know what has been done to the instrument.
