In the upper-left corner of your screen (under the big word "TubeNet"), you will see a place where you can search for stuff. It works fairly well.

Ultra-pure lamp oil... unless you want the scented and citronella stuff that folks burn in their Tiki torches.bloke wrote:.... A very high-profile player buys (probably quarts) of (cheap) "lamp oil", and (I believe) adds just a bit of Mobil 1 for viscosity....

I am a Euph player,
For my professional Besson 967S with great compression (even though it is 27 years old) I normally use Blue Juice. For my 75 year old Pan American, 65 year old Holton Double Bell, and 40 year old Conn Connstellation, I use Hetman Classic #3. On the older horns, the slightly thicker #3 helps with keeping compression at its highest. In a pinch I also use Al Cass or Holton. I definitely do NOT use the Hetman Classic #3 on my Besson Euph, though as it slows the valves down too much.
For all of my horns, I use Hetman cleaning solvent about once every 6 months or so to get rid of buildup. This leaves the piston and casing coated with a slick surface of synthetic suff which also helps keep things moving nicely. Stuff works great.

Tried that, but the violas just keep on comin'...Scooby Tuba wrote:I use weasel pee thinned out rancid bear grease. Works great. Keeps the violins away, although, maybe I'll start burning a citronella tiki torch back there...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
