If anyone out there is looking for a Conn sousa, this one is local to me: http://tinyurl.com/3dnybj They've had this one for about 6 months and on and off eBay several times. These guys are straight shooters. They don't mention it, but the case is question is probably an MTS case. They usually outfit their used sousas with these - great case. S/N dates it to c. 1930, so it should be modern pitch.
The horn is definitely not a looker, but if anyone is serious about getting it, and if I have time, I will honk on it for you and give you my amateur opinion. I used to own a Conn sousa, so I know what to look for.
