Karlsen Sonata

Post by David Zerkel »

I need help!

I once heard a great recital recording of Grant Harville playing the Kjell Mork Karlsen Sonata for Tuba. I'd like to study the piece and program it for a fall recital, but am running into a wall trying to purchase the music.

My friends at Portland Sheet Music have it on their online catalogue, but do not have it and cannot locate it in the catalogue for Norsk Musikforlag Oslo. They referred me to Norsk Musikforlag's parent company, but my e-mail to them has gone unanswered.

Anybody have any suggestions? Feel free to contact me off board if you'd prefer.

Thanks!

David Thompson (Thompson Editions) has found some very unusual music for me when I have asked.

Thanks to Bryan Doughty and some helpful friends from Europe, I am no longer as confused! I appreciate the help very much!
