Meinl-Weston 45SLP, purchased new in 2003. The horn is in great shape - a few small dents and some lacquer wear where my arms touch the horn (see pictures below). Also some scars from where some damage to the bell was repaired (see below). Several improvements have been made to the horn to make it an even better instrument: venting on the 1st and 4th valves, shortening of the first slide, and lengthening of the main tuning slide to close up the large bore gap that comes as a result of how long the slide needs to be (see below). All modifications and repairs on this instrument were advised and performed by Alan Baer.
