Learn to repair a tuba in a week woo hoo

Post by olaness »

I saw this auction on ebay and thought it absolutely hilarious!

140 pages in PDF telling you how to repair most orchestral instruments. Yay, a revolution is upon us - no need for lengthy courses and apprenticeships for learning to care for these complex creations...

There is one flaw in my logic, perhaps: someone might actually believe they can learn this in this manner, maybe the parents of a child somewhere learning to play the trumpet, wanting to save some money on repairs if things should go pear-shaped.

I would urge the good people of this board to not actually spend any money on this, but I thought it was too entertaining an ebay auction to go unmentioned.

Hey, a tuba is just like a violin! What's the problem!? :D

(NOW IF THEY IMPLIED THAT A TUBA WAS LIKE A VIOLA, I'D BE WORRIED... !)
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
