SOLD - thanks for looking.
I have a Pro-Tec gig bag for sale. It fits 5/6 & 6/4 tubas with up to a 21" bell. Black.
There are no back straps (nothing like having the backstraps break on your Yorkbrunner backpack) only the shoulder sling and handle in the middle.
PM if interested.

Re: gig bag for large tuba (used) FS
Anyone know if this bag would fit a King 2340 with a recording bell? If it fits a 5/4 or 6/4 bell up tuba, it should fit a 4/4 with bell up BUT mine has a recording bell.Alex C wrote:I have a Pro-Tec gig bag for sale. It fits 5/6 & 6/4 tubas with up to a 21" bell. Black.
Anyone? Buehler?

Re: gig bag for large tuba (used) FS
I tried it with my King bell front, and I remember it fitting - barely though, very tight on the bell end. I will check for sure later this afternoon. I have both a 1240/2340 and this model ProTec bag.The Big Ben wrote:Anyone know if this bag would fit a King 2340 with a recording bell? Barely fits, just barely. You have to turn the recording bell about 45 degrees to the left (your left side as you are holding it). Takes a little finessing of the zipper. That said, it just looks and feels awkward - wrong shape. Now I remember why I only tried this once before. You would probably be better off with an Altieri or Dolly bag custom made. The Big Ben wrote:Anyone know if this bag would fit a King 2340 with a recording bell?
