how many students do you have?

Post by Tubadan »

I was just wondering for those of you out there who teach lessons, how many students do you have this year? What grade/ability level are they at? I have nine 7-8 graders... all beginning this year.

Right now I have about 42 and still adding kids over 10, I have 6 in HS and the rest 6th-8th and this is my first year at it. Yes, Texas is the mecca of private lessons. It seems fun so far, except secheduling is a bitch. I like the practice time that this gig allows also.

If anyone in the D/FW area wants to start a quartet or tuba euph ensemble or something send me a PM or email I'd be game!
