Oystein Baadsvik Clinic/Masterclass/Recital!!

Post by Richard Murrow »

I want to invite everyone to hear Oystein on Tuesday, October 23 at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. He will be giving a masterclass/clinic on Tuesday afternoon from 1-4 and then a recital that evening at 7:30. Both events are FREE and open to the public through the generous support of Holze Music and Miraphone. Holze will have a small Miraphone display which should include a Norwegian Star, 1292, EEb Ambassador, and the Ambassador Euphonium. All events will be held in PepsiCo Recital Hall in the Walsh Center. I hope to see lots of you there.

You probably know that The Dallas Wind Symphony's Concert is at 8:00 P.M. on the 23rd. I do want to hear that program.

I may very well go to the clinic/masterclass anyway. Too bad about the recital's timing. Oystein Baadsvik's playing is amazing and the recital should be a lot of fun!!

I am very much aware that the DWS has a concert that evening.
Fortunately for DWS fans, they have a full season of concerts and Oystein only comes once every year or so. Enjoy the DWS it should be a good concert.

I wouldn't miss this for an entire season of DWS (no disrespect intended). I have been priviledged to hear him on two seperate occasions and have always come away with a renewed enthusiasm for my craft.
