Shipping a tuba

Post by ajmtuba »

So I'm sure this has been brought up a million times, but I didn't see any definitive answer for the best way to ship a tuba. I have been told if you go with a shipping company, DHL is the safest. This particular horn is being shipped in a gig bag. I have the plastic air bubbles that Custom shipped my PT-6 in a few years go. I've also heard about Greyhound or via bus, what all does this require?

Thanks to all
