I'm selling my Miraphone 188. It comes with original Miraphone Hardshell case with locks and rollers. It was Michael Lind's orchestra contrabass, and I bought it from Bob Tucci's shop in Eichenau bei Munchen. As you might expect, it is an excellent playing example of a 188, and is in very good shape. There are no major dents. The lacquer scores about 99%, only because of the wear on the valve levers, and a little bit of wear on the first valve slide. Please see the pictures. I'm asking $4,500.

Thanks for all the interest. The horn is located in Powder Springs, Georgia, just west of Atlanta. I will get some pictures of the case and post them tomorrow. It's the brown "Miraphone" brand case that was made for the horn with locks (and I still have the key!!)

At this time, medical reasons are causing the sale, so unfortunately there won't be another horn for a while. It's okay though. It might be a "tuba sin," , but I'm 100% F tuba right now, even for our large local wind symphony.

There are no tuba "sins." If you sound good and are having fun, then you are OK!!!!

On hold.

There has been a tremendous interest in this horn . . . if the pending sale doesn't work out, I will let you all know.
