LG VX8700 from Verizon.

I got this phone because it's small (a hair thinner than the Razr), and is made of stainless steel, so it doesn't feel cheap and get scuffed up easily. Fits in my pocket and doesn't get in the way.

I've got the Treo 650 as well. I occasionally perv over newer models, but with some geek chops, this phone does everything!

Here's a link to Palm open-source music apps, including tuners and metronomes. http://www.palmopensource.com/index.php?category=38

LG VX3200. Free with my Alltel plan.

I never use anything but the free phone, whatever it may be. Preferably with nothing on it but the phone. Anything beyond the ability to make and take calls is of no use to me. It stays turned off most of the time anyway.

I re-upped with Cingular and got a free, simple, non-flip phone. I don't want pictures or any bells and whistles on my phone. This is a later model of my old one with buttons that are easier to mash accurately with my big fat fingers.
I dropped it on a cement floor and stepped on it solidly once and did no damage. 8)
We pronounce it Guf Coast

Interesting commentary on our society that a phone can be described as 'sexy'. Not so long ago a 'phone' was just a nondescript black plastic object that hung on the wall.

I'm going to poop on this thread's party.

A better alocation of the money that you spend on your cellphones and other trendy gadgets might be an IRA or some other investment, like maybe your kids' college fund.

Driving while talking or texting on them is the new DWI. Or DWT. And rightly so. It looks stupid and is dangerous.

Humanity would do well to slow down a bit and take a look at itself and its motivations.

Ditto. And would that we return to those fiscally more responsible times.
